Facility Guidance

Facility Arrival/Parking: Please come to the Hansen Football Performance Center located at 992 Evashevki Drive, Iowa City. It sits on the west side of Kinnick Stadium across the parking lot (Lot 43). Parking is free and available on Sundays. The easiest and most convenient parking locations are Lot 43 (westside of Kinnick Stadium) as well as Lot 43 Northwest (located in between the Hansen Football Performance Center and the Indoor Track/Rec Building). There are meters located in Lot 43 NW but no payments need to be made as parking on Sundays is free of charge.

Stadium Entrance: The Game Fields and Practice Area are going to be located in the same building. After you park, please locate the Hansen Football Performance Center and head to the north side of the building where the Indoor facility is located to enter (see Camp Entrance on the map).

Spectator Expectations: Spectators are allowed and encouraged to bring their own seating/chairs as there will be no additional available seating or bleachers. Spectators will be asked to stay strictly on the outside of the playing fields. Anyone outside of participants and staff will not be allowed into the “alley’s” or the interior of the field (in-between boundaries). We would also ask that no animals be brought into the Indoor Facility where the practice and game fields are staged.

Game Rotations: Additionally, as each game and session conclude we will request that all participants and their guests exit the Indoor Facility as soon as possible once the participants are released. We will have a new session be starting shortly after and space will be limited for spectators.

Bathrooms: There will be bathrooms available on site within the Indoor Practice Facility. The 3 bathrooms (men, women and a family bathroom) are located in the southeast corner on the side that connects to the Hansen Football Performance Center.

Concessions: There are no concessions for this program. Also, please no food items into the Indoor Facility. Patrons are encourage to bring their own water/sports drink.

Additional/Special Notes: There is construction in the vicinity of the Hansen Football Performance Center & Indoor Practice Facility where our program will be taking place. This construction will have no effect on our gameday operation or ability for parking. Construction is taking place in the former Lot 43 North Parking Lot that lays at the north side of the West Campus Transportation Center and North Endzone of Kinnick Stadium. (see attached map)

Secondly, there will be no access for any participants or their guests into the Competition Site. Only authorized personnel will be allowed into the facility, and this will have no impact on the program itself. There will be no access granted into the facility under any circumstances. There are 4 video tower/crow’s nest stations inside the gameday facility. No access will be given to these towers under any circumstances.
