Facility Guidance
Parking Area: Parking is fairly copious around the SMU facilities. We recommend for families to park in the Meadows Museum Parking Garage and the Binkley Parking Garage near the Armstrong Indoor Performance Center. Parking on Sundays is free of charge throughout all parking facilities. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your start time to allow for transit to your respective fields.
Pettus Practice Fields: Located in close proximity to Ford Stadium, Pettus Practice Fields sit just west of the stadium and are easily accessible from Ownby Drive. ALL Next Level programs will run on Pettus Practice Fields. The fields are adjacent to the main entrance of the SMU campus off of Mockingbird Lane, providing a direct and convenient route for visiting families. For GPS navigation, the best address to use is 5701–5727 Ownby Drive, Dallas, TX 75205. The field entrance is clearly marked along the west side of the stadium, with nearby pedestrian access from both Meadows Parking Garage and Mockingbird Lane. Please allow extra time for parking and walking, especially during high-traffic events.
Restrooms:
Spectator Guidance: Spectators will be allowed to view games from the sidelines. Please clean up any and all trash to help maintain the facility.
Pets: Please no dogs or other pets inside any of the SMU facilities- the only exception are service animals where needed.
Food: There will be no concession stand on site. Please keep outside food off the player surfaces. Snacks and other food is not allowed on the turf playing fields.
General Facility Guidelines: Please be considerate of our usage of the SMU facilities and maintain a watchful eye on young spectators and otherwise. Please ensure that those in attendance are accounted for and not roaming the SMU Athletic facilities.
