Facility Guidance

Parking Area: Parking is fairly copious around the SMU facilities. We recommend for families to park in the Meadows Museum Parking Garage and the Binkley Parking Garage near the Armstrong Indoor Performance Center. Parking on Sundays is free of charge throughout all parking facilities. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your start time to allow for transit to your respective fields.

Field Entrance - Gerald Ford Stadium: Entrance to the Ford Stadium will be provided through Gate 3 - which is located proximate to the Athletic Facility. Stairs are required to reach the field area so please allow for extra time.

Handicap Access - Gerald Ford Stadium: There is no handicap access to the bottom level of the seating area in Ford Stadium. Spectating will be available from the concourse level in the designated handicap areas around the stadium area (both for Field 1 and Field 2).

Restrooms - Gerald Ford Stadium: Restrooms are located on the West Concourse level of the stadium near Gate 3. We DO NOT have restrooms available to us at field level for our participants. We ask that parents assist us where possible to help with their participants getting to/from the restroom during practice and game activity.

Practice Periods: Practice periods will take place on your team's designated field assignment each week. Please be ready to practice immediately at the conclusion of the prior game activity at each location (except 1st grade - head directly to your field upon arrival).

Spectator Guidance: Spectators will be allowed to view games from the stadium seating ONLY. Please clean up any and all trash to help maintain the facility.

Pets: Please no dogs or other pets inside any of the SMU facilities- the only exception are service animals where needed.

Food: There will be no concession stand on site. Please keep outside food off the player surfaces. Snacks and other food is not allowed on the turf playing fields.

General Facility Guidelines: Historically, we’ve experienced extended family members roaming around the stadium areas unattended. Please be considerate of our usage of the SMU facilities and maintain a watchful eye on young spectators and otherwise. Please ensure that those in attendance are accounted for and not roaming the SMU Athletic facilities.
